Here's an Update!

Been a Month, Here's an Update!

I haven't been posting as regularly because really, there was nothing new to post regarding our adoption.

We were STUCK.

Waiting and Waiting and Waiting for our home study to be written. Until our home study was done and approved, we were unable to do the next step of our paperwork. We were also unable to apply for grants. Just stuck.

But I'm happy to finally be able to update that now our home study is complete and approved by the adoption agency. And we are moving along again!
We are in a "mad dash" to get the next set of paperwork gathered, appistilled, and mailed off.

Because of the delay in our home study being completed, we are behind in the process.

Please pray that everything else goes smoothly and quickly, so that we are able to meet the country's deadlines for adoption paperwork.

Another concern to pray about. My fingerprints have been rejected twice! Please pray that they will be accepted this time. Apparently, I wash my fingerprints away.

We have been given more donations! Thank you all who have donated to our adoption! It is so very encouraging when people give to adoption, loving Zephan and Phoebe, to want to bring them into our family!

I will update our total soon. There is a thermometer in the blog tab "The Money". It's encouraging to watch it rise. The price of adoption is high, but God provides!
